Team Performance

Leaderboards, quota tracking, activity metrics, and AI-powered coaching to drive your team's results.

Sales is a team sport, and visibility into performance is critical. Clozup's Team Performance module gives managers and reps a clear picture of who's hitting their numbers, what activities drive results, and where coaching can have the biggest impact.

Leaderboard

The leaderboard ranks team members across key metrics. It's designed to foster healthy competition and make top performers visible:

Leaderboards can be filtered by time period (this week, this month, this quarter, custom range) and by metric. Click any team member to see their detailed breakdown.

Gamification

Enable badges in Settings to award achievements (First Deal of the Month, 100 Calls Club, etc.). Badges appear on the leaderboard and in team notifications. Fun, harmless, and surprisingly motivating.

Quota Management

Set and track quotas for each team member. Quotas can be defined for:

  • Revenue — Target revenue for the period
  • Deals — Target number of closed deals
  • Meetings — Target number of meetings booked
  • Activities — Target number of emails, calls, or touchpoints

The quota tracker shows a progress bar for each rep with percentage attainment. Color-coded status indicators make it easy to spot who's on track (green), at risk (yellow), or behind (red).

Setting Quotas

  1. Navigate to Performance → Quotas
  2. Select the time period (monthly, quarterly)
  3. Set individual quotas per team member, or apply a team-wide default
  4. Save — quotas take effect immediately

Note

Only Admins and Owners can set quotas. Members can view their own quota progress but not modify targets.

Activity Metrics

Track daily and weekly activity for each rep:

  • Emails Sent & Received — Outbound and inbound email volume
  • Calls Made & Answered — Total calls with connect rate
  • Talk Time — Total minutes on calls
  • Meetings Booked — New meetings scheduled
  • Deals Created — New opportunities added to pipeline
  • Deals Advanced — Deals moved to later stages
  • Tasks Completed — Manual tasks marked as done

Activity metrics are displayed as daily bar charts, making it easy to spot patterns (e.g., low activity on Fridays, spikes after team meetings).

Sentiment Analysis

Clozup's AI analyzes the tone and sentiment of every rep's conversations to provide coaching insights:

  • Overall Sentiment Score — Average sentiment across all conversations (scale of 1-5)
  • Positive Interaction Rate — Percentage of conversations with positive sentiment
  • Objection Frequency — How often leads raise objections (and common objection themes)
  • Response Quality Score — AI assessment of email quality (clarity, personalization, CTA effectiveness)

Coaching opportunities

Use sentiment data to identify coaching opportunities. If a rep has high activity but low positive sentiment, they might benefit from messaging coaching. If sentiment is high but close rate is low, the issue might be qualification.

Performance Reports

Generate detailed performance reports for individuals or the entire team:

  • Individual Report — Complete breakdown of a rep's metrics, quota attainment, and AI coaching suggestions
  • Team Report — Aggregate performance with comparisons and trends
  • Period Comparison — Compare this month/quarter to the previous one

Reports can be exported as PDF or shared via email. Schedule weekly reports under Performance → Settings → Reports.

Manager Dashboard

Team managers get a dedicated dashboard that consolidates:

  • Team leaderboard with real-time ranking
  • Quota attainment for all direct reports
  • Activity heatmap showing daily activity patterns
  • Pipeline summary by owner
  • AI-generated coaching recommendations

This view is accessible to users with the Admin or Owner role. See Organization Management for role details.

Plan Availability

Basic activity metrics are available on all plans. Advanced features are gated:

  • Leaderboard & Quotas — Starter plan and above
  • Sentiment Analysis — Pro plan and above
  • Scheduled Reports — Pro plan and above
  • Manager Dashboard — Enterprise plan
