AI-powered strategic intelligence that tells you what's working, what's not, and what to do next.
The AI Insights module goes beyond standard analytics to provide actionable intelligence about your sales operations. It analyzes your pipeline, conversations, market position, and team performance to surface patterns that humans might miss — and recommends specific actions to improve results.

Position Analysis
Position Analysis gives you a comprehensive view of where your sales efforts stand. The AI examines your entire pipeline and produces a report covering:
- Pipeline Health Score — An overall grade (A-F) based on deal velocity, stage distribution, and conversion trends
- Coverage Ratio — How your pipeline compares to your quota (3x pipeline is the typical benchmark)
- Stage Distribution — Whether your pipeline is top-heavy, bottom-heavy, or well-balanced
- Velocity Trends — Whether deals are speeding up or slowing down compared to historical averages
- Risk Assessment — Which deals are at risk and why (stale, single-threaded, underqualified)
Note
Position Analysis costs 5 AI credits per run. It's designed to be run weekly or bi-weekly for strategic planning, not daily. The insights refresh automatically on your configured schedule.
Key Performance Indicators
The Insights module tracks and analyzes your most important sales KPIs:

For each KPI, the AI provides context: historical trend, comparison to benchmarks, and specific recommendations for improvement.
Competitive Intelligence
Clozup automatically detects competitor mentions across all your conversations — emails, call transcripts, and chat messages. The competitive intelligence module:
- Tracks mention frequency — See which competitors come up most often
- Extracts context — Understand what prospects say about competitors
- Maps win/loss correlation — See which competitors you win against vs. lose to
- Surfaces battlecards — AI generates talking points based on competitive analysis

Configure competitors
Go to Settings → Insights → Competitors to add the names of your competitors. This helps the AI accurately detect mentions even when leads use abbreviations, nicknames, or misspellings.
AI Recommendations
The most powerful part of AI Insights is the recommendations engine. Based on your data, the AI generates specific, actionable suggestions:
- “Focus on these 5 deals” — The deals most likely to close if given attention this week
- “Re-engage these 12 leads” — Leads who showed interest but went cold, with suggested re-engagement strategies
- “Adjust your messaging” — Subject line or copy changes based on A/B test results and reply sentiment
- “Reallocate territory” — Team members who are overloaded or underutilized
- “Increase follow-up cadence” — Sequences where adding another step would likely improve conversion
Each recommendation includes the supporting data and a one-click action to implement it.
Scheduled Reports
Configure automated insight reports delivered on a schedule:
- Weekly Pipeline Review — Position analysis, KPIs, and recommendations every Monday
- Monthly Performance Report — Comprehensive team and revenue analysis
- Deal Alert Digest — Daily summary of at-risk deals and hot leads
Reports are sent to your email and available in the Insights archive. They can also be shared via the AI Assistant.
Access & Permissions
AI Insights is available on Pro and Enterprise plans. On Pro, insights are limited to individual performance. Enterprise unlocks team-wide analytics, competitive intelligence, and scheduled reports.
