Leads are the foundation of your outbound engine. Clozup gives you a powerful, AI-enhanced lead management system that goes beyond a simple contact list. Every lead gets a 360-degree profile, automated enrichment, intelligent scoring, and a full activity timeline.
Importing Leads
CSV Import
The fastest way to get leads into Clozup is via CSV import. Navigate to Leads → Import and upload your file. Clozup supports files up to 50MB with up to 100,000 rows.
Required and recommended columns:

Duplicate handling
Clozup automatically detects duplicates by email address. When a duplicate is found, you can choose to skip, overwrite, or merge the data. This is configured in the import dialog.
Manual Creation
Click “Add Lead” to create a single lead. Fill in the contact details and optionally trigger enrichment. Manual leads are useful for adding contacts you meet at events or referrals.
AI Chat Import
You can also add leads through the AI Assistant:

Clozup's AI enrichment engine automatically augments your leads with additional data points. Enrichment runs in the background after import and can also be triggered manually for individual leads.
Data points added by enrichment:
- Company info — Industry, size, funding stage, revenue estimate, headquarters location
- Social profiles — LinkedIn, Twitter/X, GitHub (when available)
- Firmographics — Technology stack, recent news, hiring signals
- Contact details — Verified email, phone numbers, role history
Note
Enrichment consumes 1 AI credit per lead. Bulk enrichment on import can be enabled/disabled in the import dialog. See Credit System for pricing details.

Click on any lead to open the Lead 360 View — a comprehensive profile page that brings together everything you know about the contact in one place.

The Lead 360 View includes:
- Contact Header — Name, title, company, score badge, and status indicator
- Company Card — Enriched company information with logo, industry, size, and funding
- Activity Timeline — Chronological log of every email, call, meeting, and note
- Campaign History — Which campaigns this lead has been included in and their engagement
- Deal Association — Linked deals with stage, value, and probability
- AI Summary — AI-generated brief on the lead's engagement patterns and recommended next action
- Notes & Tags — Team notes and custom tags for organization
Lead Scoring
Every lead in Clozup receives an AI-powered score from 0 to 100 that indicates how likely they are to convert. The score is calculated based on multiple signals:
- Profile Completeness (0-20 points) — How much data we have on the contact
- ICP Fit (0-30 points) — How well the lead matches your ideal customer profile
- Engagement (0-30 points) — Email opens, clicks, replies, call participation
- Recency (0-20 points) — How recently the lead engaged with your outreach
Score thresholds
Leads scoring 70+ are marked as “Hot” and should be prioritized for personal follow-up. Leads 40-69 are “Warm” and benefit from continued nurturing. Below 40 is “Cold” — consider re-engaging or archiving.
Filtering & Segmentation
The leads list supports powerful filtering to help you find exactly the contacts you need:
- Status — New, Contacted, Qualified, Converted, Lost
- Score Range — Filter by minimum/maximum AI score
- Company Size — 1-10, 11-50, 51-200, 201-1000, 1000+
- Industry — Technology, Finance, Healthcare, etc.
- Tags — Custom tags you've assigned
- Campaign Membership — Leads in (or not in) specific campaigns
- Engagement — Opened, Clicked, Replied, Bounced, No Activity
- Date Added — Filter by import/creation date
Save frequently used filters as Segments for quick access. Segments can also be used as target audiences when creating campaigns.
Bulk Actions
Select multiple leads to perform bulk operations:
- Add to Campaign — Enroll selected leads in an existing campaign
- Assign Owner — Assign leads to a team member
- Apply Tags — Add or remove tags in bulk
- Enrich — Trigger AI enrichment for selected leads
- Export — Download selected leads as CSV
- Archive / Delete — Remove leads from active lists
